Jordan and Madison knew of each other through mutual friends but were always in different places in their lives. Everything changed at the end of summer 2024 when a close friend of theirs connected them. They spent the first few weeks getting to know each other via FaceTime, as Jordan was in El Paso, Texas serving the US Army. Jordan flew to their hometown of Saint Helens, Oregon to officially meet Madison. After spending quality time together, meeting each other's families and friends, creating all of the belly-laugh and appreciating each other's quirks, they knew there was something incredibly special to explore.

With long distance now being a reality of theirs, Jordan and Madison took turns flying to one another. Madison got to explore a lot of El Paso on her visits to see Jordan (even though it is not a favorite of both hers and Jordans). There are many differences between a large lively city surrounded by dry desert and the immense amount of forests and greenery that the PNW provides, but there was never a dull moment whether she was visiting him, or he was visiting her. Though long distance was their main challenge and never fun, the two of them considered themselves extremely lucky to have had so many opportunities to visit one another. Being able to have each other to miss was truly a blessing.

The holidays came around, and Jordan was lucky enough to be granted 2 weeks of vacation over Christmas and New Years. Him and Madison spent every day together, doing all of the holiday things as a couple and with their families and friends. Core memories were made. On January 3rd of 2025, Jordan got down on one knee with a ring and asked Madison to marry him. She was speechless but elated to spend the rest of her life with him, so she said yes! Sure, many people have told them how soon it was, but they aren't lying when they say, "when you know, you know". The two are a force to be reckoned with. Madison and Jordan love and challenge each other in many different ways, which has made their relationship strong as can be.

The love that these two have grown will be celebrated August 30th of 2025, the day they officially tie the knot! Afterwards, they plan to seek out all of the adventures that they both love, such as traveling, hiking, camping, going to hockey games, rock hounding and everything thing else they can fit into this wonderful life.
